- Allergic Reaction: Pugs are prone to allergies and every dog will react differently to different foods. If your dog is allergic to strawberries, you may notice signs of diarrhea, vomiting, or itchy skin.
- This fruit contains goitrogens: which is a chemical that could impede your dog’s thyroid function. The symptoms will be noticeable in decreased energy levels, and weight gain. If left untreated this condition can cause your pooch to develop a goiter.
